Dean and Undergraduate Professor of the Linguistics, Language and Arts Department at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo.
Researcher at the Latin American Centre for Studies in Culture (CLAEC), the International Association of Portuguese Linguistics (AILP) and the Asociación de Estudios sobre Discurso y Sociedad (EDiSo). Founder and head of the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Language Studies (GIEL/CNPq). Research interests and current projects span Philosophy of Migration, Anticolonial Praxis, Health and Education, Discourse Studies, ICTs, Language and Education.
